T4 temper (HR30T 58-64) offers elevated hardness and yield strength compared to T3 grades, providing the necessary structural rigidity for larger-diameter industrial lids (up to 300mm) that must withstand stacking loads, internal pressure variations, and rough handling during transport. This temper grade resists panel deflection and maintains hermetic seal integrity under challenging distribution conditions.
