Tinplate is also known as tin-plated iron, tin-plated thin steel plate, the English
abbreviation is SPTE. Tinplate refers to cold-rolled low-carbon thin steel plate or
steel strip coated with commercial pure tin on both sides. Tin mainly plays a role
in preventing corrosion and rust. It combines the strength and formability of steel
with the corrosion resistance, tin solderability and beautiful appearance of tin in
one material. It has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, high

| Applications of Tinplate and TFS |
| ETP is primarily used for packaging foodstuffs and beverages, but it is also used in containers for oils, grease, paints, polishes, chemicals and many other products. Aerosol containers and caps and closures are also made from ETP. |
